Marco Ferreri

Marco Ferreri was born on February 26, 1958 in Imperia and graduated in architecture in 1981 at the Milan Polytechnic, the city where he has lived and worked since 1984.

There are several fields of his design research which ranges from industrial design to graphics, from architecture to fittings.

Many of his objects are collected in important design collections such as the “Permanent Design Collection” of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the permanent design collection at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Collazione Fondo Nazionale d’Arte Contemporanea in Paris and in important private collections.

His work has received several awards and mentions: the “Less” chair produced by Nemo and the “Libroletto” (designed with Bruno Munari “were selected for the Compasso d’Oro, the Titi broom was awarded the Design Plus 2000 award. , the Foglia chair by Novecentoundici was selected for the Red Dot Award in 2002.

Member of the Order of Architects of Milan, Partner A.D.I. and member of BEDA / Bureau of European Designers Association, he has lectured at major universities in Italy and abroad.

He teaches at the Milan Polytechnic, at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts and at the Free University of Bolzano. Or lectures in major universities in Italy and abroad.
