Paolo Ulian was born in 1961. He trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Carrara where he attended the painting courses of Getulio Alviani and LucianoFabro, then he enrolled in the I.s.i.a. of Florence where he graduated in industrial design nbel 1990.
The same year he is in Milan to work with Enzo Mari. She collaborated with him until 1992 and then started her own business together with her brothers Giuseppe. He exhibits in numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad and wins some international awards such as the Design for Europe Award, the Design Report Award, the Dedalus Award, the Design Pluse and the If Award.
He has collaborated with Driade, Bieffeplast, Fontana Arte, Luminara, Zani and Zani, BBB Bonacina, Sensi & C., Droog Design, Coop, Azzurra Ceramiche, Skitcsh.
